Our Story
Ploombi began on a kitchen table with a shoebox of packs and one stubborn idea: make the good ones easy to find.

It started because good stickers were weirdly hard to find.
A few years ago we wanted a single pack of chibi stickers that were actually cute, actually waterproof, and did not arrive smelling of solvent. What we found instead were endless look-alike listings, thin paper that curled at the edges, and colors that faded after one summer on a water bottle. So we started buying, testing, and quietly keeping a shortlist of the makers who got it right.
That shortlist became a shoebox. The shoebox became a spare-room shelf. Eventually there were enough packs we genuinely loved that it felt selfish not to share them, and Ploombi was the name we gave the whole plump, happy pile. It means something like “soft little thing” in our heads, which felt about right.
We are a small team, and we still open every restock like it is a present. That has not changed, and we do not want it to.
How we choose
Before anything joins the shop, we order it ourselves and put it through the same day a customer would: peel a few, stick them on a laptop and a bottle, run one through the dishwasher, leave one on a sunny windowsill for a week.
We are looking for four things, in order: charm, color that stays true, a clean die-cut that lifts without tearing, and a lamination that shrugs off water. If a pack fails any of them, it does not matter how cute it is. It goes back in the box.
How they are made
Most designs are printed on PVC-free vinyl, roughly 80 microns thick, with a matte or gloss laminate on top. Washi products use a fine Japanese paper tape instead, so they tear by hand and write over cleanly.
Artwork is printed at high resolution, then sealed under a protective laminate that makes the sticker waterproof, dishwasher-safe and UV-resistant. That top layer is why colors stay bright for years instead of months.
Each design is precision die-cut with a small white border so it peels clean off the backing every time, with no fiddling at the corners.
Orders are checked, counted and packed by hand, wrapped so nothing bends in transit, and sent on its way with care.
We would rather stock forty packs we adore than four hundred we tolerate. If a design does not earn a place on our own laptops, it does not make the shop.
Every vinyl sticker is laminated and waterproof, because a sticker you are afraid to use is not much of a sticker. We test the peel and the print before a pack goes live.
Clear pricing, recyclable packaging, and a real person who answers your emails within a day. No dark patterns, no fake countdowns, no nonsense.
“Make the loveliest packs easy to find, and treat every customer like a friend we are lucky to have.”
